God help us. This rift between Clinton and Obama reminds me of schoolyard bickering among children. What the Democrats need to do is stop trying to one-up each other and realize that they have lost what used to be their base, The working man and woman of America. While the passage of the civil rights law was an Important event in our history, it does no good for a man to be on a level playing field with his peers if the jobs he wants continue to be outsourced overseas and the jobs left over can barely support him and his family. Let's the righties have a freakin field day with us. As much as I like Obama personally, (Edwards being my candidate of choice), I have to go to Hilary when it's between the two, because I honestly don't think Obama would get elected in the general. There's just too much for the right wing to rip him apart with (coke use, Muslim school ties, being Black). As lame as that is, I think it's true and I am not willing to take the chance of another Republican in the White House. I happened to have the radio on 1700 when I got in the car this morning (from listening to your show on the way home) and when I turned it on this morning, it was Mark Larsen interviewing Dunkie Boy... omg he is such a freaking embarassment of a representative. Every time I hear or see him, I cringe. He was on this morning talking about how he is still a viable candidate... that is definitely a quality that I look for in a representative...delusional. When will he go away?? I have already contacted the Democratic opponent for his seat to let him know I will help his campaign in any way possible.
