Actually, I did get an e-mail yesterday from a rather prominent San Diego anti-war feminist yesterday and was surprised to see that she’s not happy with “either candidate.” When I was supporting Hillary, I was on the wrong end of a few nasty words by some of her friends, so I guess some people will never be happy.

I don’t know, anyone who would call his wife that word is no feminist in my book. (I would be divorced so fast) Even if it was just an offhand remark - which is what people really think. I agree with Mr. Sotheby, the Clinton’s were targets. But modern usage of the “C” word will ever make it to the mainstream.

When Obama says some people are acting bitter the media goes on about it for weeks. Other examples abound. But when McCain says totally outrageous things or flip-flops or whatever, nothing much at all is said.

That’s why this video is so hilarious. It’s spot-on about what our right-wing controlled media does to the Dems and liberals.

He probably doesn’t think that of his wife or women in general, actually. But as Bob Sotheby (dailyhowler.com) says about the “cult of the offhand remark”, this is what the media has done to the Clintons and others over the years, if they’re not righties.

Again, these things are what make this video so absolutely side-splitting.

I guess I shouldn’t worry about it. But when I see good left-wing, anti-war hippy, feminist, commie-pinko radicals endlessly going after Obama, it just kinda hurts me.

That’s a big silver lining to Clinton not campaigning anymore — Now she can concentrate on dealing with the business desperately needed in the Senate.

When Ted Kennedy gave up in the 1980 presidential election against Carter, he was able to focus on the Senate and in the long run I think it worked out for the best. Maybe that’s Hillary’s future - The Lioness of the Senate…
