Bush gets his 8 minutes. “If the Hanoi Hilton can’t break John McCain, The Angy Left won’t”? Is the chimp getting his talking points from Glen Beck? Mike Gallagher? Ann Coulter? Jeebus! And how ’bout the tribute to “Old Dutch”? Too quaint and obvious to even comment on. http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/09/02/george-bush-gets-almost-9-minutes-of-rnc-time-to-talk-about-mccain/

  1. I was just waiting for him to say “I believe that human beings and fish can still coexist peacefully!”

  2. If the angry left can’t break him, explain again to us Mr. Bush, how a feller like you managed to do just that? Oh yeah, by tapping into the racist tendencies of southerners. I will never forget “How would you feel if John McCain has a illegitimate black child?”

  3. Big J that brings up another point I want to make. So we are the “angry left”? Who ordered the bombing of a country that never attacked us? The angry left? No, no, make no mistake civilians and US service members(and I once was one) have been killed because of Bush, not becuse of the “angry left”.

  4. He called us angry because he didn’t want to say “bitter”. Also, as with the post fire local GOP backpat-a-thon, Bush was quick to refer to the efforts of the Republican governors as the reason there was such a successful effort to save lives in the wake of Gustav. Hey, Bush, in one of those states, you made sure there would be a R Gov by pressing criminal charges against the D Gov they used to have and who the fuck knows what you told Gov. Blanco to turn down help from the feds after Katrina.(not that it makes it right…she shouldn’t have turned any help down…no matter what…and likewise help for your country should not be conditional.
